可愛らしい童話的世界を飛び越え、アニミズム的な神秘主義をもパッケージ。山梨県小淵沢の元保育園を改装したギャラリーで録音された、原田郁子の2ndアルバム。
前作『ケモノと魔法』が、アニミズム的神秘主義が織り込まれた呪術的なアルバムとするなら、本作はその土着性すらも突き抜けて、遥か彼方まで上昇してしまったかのような、まさに『銀河』的なアルバム。
80年代のテクノ歌謡を思わせるピコピコしたアイドル・ポップから、ブリーピーなベースラインやキック音が気持ちいいフロア仕様のエレクトロニカ・ハウスへ。作詞・作曲・アレンジと全てのイニシアチブを握った中田ヤスタカが、完全に己の色に染め上げたパーソナル感の強いアルバム。
