主人公のマーク・ザッカーバーグが、大学のコンピュータをハッキングして女子大生の格付けサイトを立ち上げる場面で流れる「IN MOTION」の高揚感が素晴らしい。四つ打ちのダーク・アンビエントに彩られた音像。初めて手がけたスコア作品で、トレント・レズナーとアッティカス・ロスは第83回アカデミー賞・オリジナル作曲賞受賞という快挙を成し遂げる。
